Kualitas Anak Ditentukan Sejak Kecil

Jika anak banyak dicela, ia akan terbiasa menyalahkan..
Jika anak banyak dimusuhi, ia belajar menjadi pemberontak..
Jika anak hidup dalam ketakutan, ia selalu merasa cemas dalam hidupnya..
Jika anak sering dikasihani, ia belajar meratapi nasibnya..

Return or No Return

“The day I sold Kaka I cried. I would do anything for him” ~ Adriano Galliani. This came a few hours aftter Kaka reportedly sent a message to Galliani which read, “Siamo Campioni d’italia, complimenti.. (which means) We are Champions of Italy, compliments. Hmm..You cannot ignore how touching the love relationship between Kaka and Milan is; so the question has come up again.

The speculation had started since the begining of the season. It intensified when Kaka’s father appeared in Milan several times. Galliani tried to quench it by claiming that Milan could only afford one high salary player which is Ibrahimovic. The rumours got hold again when Manuel Rui Costa and Andriy Shevchenko all suggested that Milan re-sign Kaka. Current team mates Pato and Gattuso called for his return whiles Inzaghi said he was waiting for a Kaka re-union. Now, Galliani has touched on the issue again saying that he will do anything for Kaka. The million $ question continues.. SHOULD KAKA RETURN?

The argument regarding this matter is cuts accross.

Though i do not really want to go into details, let me highlight the main negatives that could be associated if Kaka was signed back to Milan.
  • Kaka has had his fair share of injuries in the past year
  • Look at what happened to Shevchenko on his return? it could be similar to Kaka
  • Milan must stop holding unto Kaka and look for younger attackers
  • His wages and price could be high
  • He is not the Kaka of 2007 and cannot lead us the same way he did then
Let us humbly analyse them.

Point 1 seems very true as Kaka has had his fair share of injuries. Infact, in his last season in Milan he went out injured for a combined 2 months. Funny though, he came back and ended the season as Milan’s top scorer. My question to those who say this is that, Is Pirlo who is 3 yrs older than Kaka not more injury prone than Him? Has he not made only 16 appearances for Milan this season? If it is SOLELY based on injuries, then why do you feel we should play Pirlo 6 million a year and keep him but no to Kaka. Speaking of injuries, Inzaghi anyone? Yet even though Juve know that Pirlo is injury prone they want him because of what he can do. The difference between Kaka, Pirlo and Inzaghi is wages and price but i will come to that later.

Point 2 see Milan fans conclude that a return of Kaka will be similar to that of Sheva, who played 18times for Milan on his return without scoring. Now there are three things to that story. First of all, Shevchenko was not a regular for the side upon his return and was mostly a substitute. Secondly, he was 32 yrs then and one can say in his twilight since he is not a poacher like Inzaghi. Thirdly, Shevchenko had scored only 9 league goals accross two seasons at Chelsea when Milan re – signed him. HOW DOES THAT GUARANTEE THAT KAKA WILL BE LIKE SHEVCHENKO? first of all, Kaka just turned 29 a few days ago, and is not past his best. His stats this season is awesome actually. He has only completed 90 minutes in 3 games. He has played a total of 12 games this season and has scored 7goals with 3 assists. He has more goals than Ozil and Di Maria actually, who have both made 33 appearances.

Point 3 seems to be the most interesting one. It says Milan should look beyond Kaka and invest in the young. If so, then why is it that most fans have become sentimental about the prospect of loosing Ambrosini, Gattuso, Inzaghi, Seedorf, Nesta and Pirlo. Day in day out some fans say let this and that go but Nesta has a year or two left in him, seedorf and Gattuso likewise and Inzaghi is well Inzaghi. Some of these players are 9yrs older that Kaka and yet you feel they still have some two good years left in them. UNBELIEVABLE.. Then again, if we offload most or all of the above mentioned players, then who can mentor the young ones on how to carry the team like Kaka did? Ibra? or perhaps Bonera, who as at now forgets he himself is a Milan player? Remember Kaka’s football became extremely similar to Manuel Rui Costa because of his tutelage? If we offload Seedorf and Pirlo as it is likely, then we loose two creative players Kaka is then best to offer the new direction to the youthfull team that Barbara want us to build together with Van Bommel.

Point 4 which talks about the player’s wages could definitely be the turning point. But then again this is Milan, and even Bill Gates knows that Galliani can negotiate to purchase Microsoft for a figure that will make Chelsea wonder why they did not employ Galliani to negotiate the Torres deal for them. If Galliani could make a mockery of Barca, by convinving them to part ways with the most expensive and ridiculus “player plus cash deal” ever in the history of the game after only a season, then don’t be surprised how much it could cost to get Kaka back.

Point 5 says he is not the Kaka of 2007 but guess what? Pirlo Gattuso and Seedorf all stopped being who they were after 2007.Yet they have been in Milan for another four seasons and are hoping for extentions. So what if Kaka is not the same after 2007? Is his statistics this season, out of the only 12 games he has played any worse than the others who we think are having a good season? Samir Nasri has played 31 matches and scored 10 goals. He is ranked 239th in the assists standings in the EPL with only one assists all season. He has the same number of assists as their third choice Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianksi. But Nasri is still a good player. Iniesta has 7 goals and 3 assists like Kaka but has played 21 matches more than the Brazilian. Xavi, the creative general aslo has 3 goals and 5 assists this season for Barcelona; yet Milan will still jump to sign him irrespective of his age.

To conclude, we do need to free up space by offloading several of the older and worn out players but Champions can really help the new regime to develop fast. Afterall, Ibrahimovic will be 30yrs come October and yet you think we should still sign him and pay him 9 million a year. Kaka will be a great addition to Milan whether or not we sign Ganso, though i think Ganso is still very much a priority. To compete on all fronts next season, we need a large and competitive squad. If Pirlo and Seedorf leave, then Ganso, if he comes will be the only real creative midfielder in the squad.(though there could also be merkel). If Kaka joined, he will show his class and experience whiles Ganso shows his form and talent. That, i’m afraid will be more balanced than signing two unorthodox attacking midfielders in Lamela and Ganso at the same time, when neither of them have the experience in Europe, Serie A or Champions League for that matter. One of them this summer, and the other in januarry or the next summer seem more feasible and rational. I don’t know whether Milan will make a move for Kaka or not, but i will NEVER dissapprove of it. I still remember how he got an incredible offer from Man City but opted to stay. I would rather have him in Milan than on a Madrid bench. Love you Kaka.
